I rode south and east on the Atascocita – Walden – Huffman route. Lately I’ve avoided the greenbelt along Kingwood Drive because of the tree limbs blocking it. Today I rode along Kingwood Drive to see if the blockage was removed. It was not and I rode in the grass carefully returning to the concrete greenbelt to avoid crashing like before. The ride began at 9:13 AM on my Canyon Endurace CF 7 bike. The ICAN Alpha 46 carbon wheels are back after using the DT Swiss wheels for the HH100. The weather continues to be cooler than last week with more clouds and the threat of rain helping. Wind was light but from the east testing my legs in the headwind. On the way back from Huffman the clouds to the southeast darkened and seemed to be following me back to Kingwood but I finished at 12:01 PM with no rain or sprinkles.
