A Serene Encounter: Biking Beside Wildlife on Kingwood Streets
Later start at 3:08 PM for the bike ride so I rode my Lynskey Helix bike on Kingwood streets. I rode through The Enclave section for the first time. This section is beside King Crossings Drive where I ride often. The weather was 91 degrees at the start with the wind from the SE at 18 mph. The helped keep me cooler than I expected and the tree shade was welcomed too. In the video I rode close to a large doe beside Kingwood Drive. The doe didn’t run off as I passed about 10 feet from her. I finished at 4:58 PM.
Missing Wednesday due to rain didn’t stop me from riding over 200 miles for the week with 229.31 miles. The first three days were 40+ mile rides. This the 5th week in a row of 200+ miles. I’m slightly ahead of the pace needed to reach June’s goal of 908 miles with 293.5 32%).
