Transportation department addresses bike network plan updates, future implementation strategies

Plan entering phase 3 of community engagement; final plan to come in 2025 SAN ANTONIO – For San Antonio’s alternative transit advocates and recreational riders alike, the city’s Bike Network Plan (BNP) updates are continuing in the new year.
In a Tuesday briefing to the city’s Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, the team behind updating the BNP provided updates and expectations for the third phase of their project.
The two-year time frame to update the plan, initially adopted in 2011, began in January 2023.

Arlington Parks Centennial X Trek 100-mile Challenge

In celebration of 100 Years of Arlington Parks and in partnership with Trek Bicycle, we are hosting a centennial ride of 100 miles. Each person has from May 1st – May 31st to bike 100 miles using the Strava app to track mileage. All types of biking are welcome.
