Honest Tree | www.youtube.com
Information on the 2024 Tuesday Night Crit from Turbo Velo Promoter Ryan Crissey. Ryan wears many hats including Race Director of the Chaney Windows and Door UCI professional track team. We cover a number of topics in this video which is primarily directed towards people interested in participating in the 2024 Tuesday Night Crit, but would also be interesting to people who want to know what it would take to have a weeknight crit series in their part of the country. Thanks to Ryan for the interview. And sorry for my huge head. When the video was rolling, I was just a postage stamp in the corner. I had no idea I was going to be Sputnik.

The Northeast Texas Trails Coalition and Texans for State Parks met in February to discuss a possible 130-mile-long linear state park for Northeast Texas.
The trail stretches from Farmersville through Paris and Clarksville and ends in New Boston. The long-term plan is for DFW’s Trinity Trail Network to one day connect to NETT at Farmersville.
On Jan. 30, 2024, NETT members voted to explore making the trail into a linear state park, similar to the Lake Mineral Wells Trailway just west of Fort Worth and the Caprock Canyon Trailway near Quitaque in West Texas.
The process to become a state park is a long one, however …

I don’t see a single storm cloud in the sky, but I can smell the rain Boerne, Texas
Brent Wells | strava.com
What an amazing day this has been! First, I was able to help people/patients in an amazing way today at my “new” physical therapy job in San Antonio. I say amazingly, because I myself am still healing from my TBI, which happened back in 2013! One good thing about this job is that despite the long hours many week days, we get off at noon on Fridays. Since the weather is supposed to be rainy all weekend, I figured that this afternoon and evening would be a good time to get a long ride in. Actually, according to the meteorologists, it was supposed to be raining today as well.???? The wind was brutal heading out, but then I had a good east component of it behind me to push me down Hwy 473. When I got to Comfort, I wanted to do a little bit extra, and instead of the Gaddis Bluff old TT loop, I took a left on Schladoer Rd which led me back to Hwy 27. I then took Hwy 27 back into Comfort, and stopped at the traditional Shell station. There, I refilled my bottles, bought a Coke, and then enjoyed a nice tailwind pushing me down the #SerpentineHolidayRollers?. Since I left from #MyOldShop in Boerne, I waited one last time to try for my maximum power when I turned on Norris Ln to get back to my truck. I stood up and gave it all I had, and was really amazed that I hit 1,252W. Of course, and as always, I thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for saving me both physically, and spiritually enabling me to return to this sport that I love. I thank Him for another safe ride without any mechanicals or flats
