I broke free from my house to ride outside for the second time this month. The only other outside ride this month was two weeks ago and today I rode the same route as then, Atascocita – Walden – Huffman. I waited until 11:37 AM to start the ride to give the streets time to dry after the overnight rain. I saw another cyclist along W. Lake Houston Parkway which I did not expect. I rode my Canyon Endurace CF 7 bike. Before the ride I aired up the tires since it has been over a month since it has been outside on the road. My legs felt good thanks to all of the Zwift rides and climbing while I was inside. Weather for today’s ride: Start 66 degrees, humidity 77%, dew point 58.8, partly cloudy, wind 3 mph; Finish 70 degrees, humidity 65%, dew point 57.6, partly cloudy, wind NW 6 mph. I may have over dressed wearing leg warmers but that’s okay.
