The carpenter arrived early and worked quickly replacing the trim around one of my patio doors. Before he arrived I wasn’t sure when I could start today’s bike ride but with the quick conclusion I rode away on my Canyon Endurace at 9:28 AM. Since I wasn’t too late from my usual start time I chose to ride my Atascocita – Walden – Huffman route. The temperature was still in the lower 80’s with a forecast high of 98 I decided to ride with a water bottle rather than my CamelBak. When I finished at 12:08 it was still in the upper 80’s. In the shade it felt comfortable. Light wind helped my legs keep the watts low.
