New ‘Bicycle Tree Sculpture’ unveiled at Rick Klein Sports Complex

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Rick Klein Trails is now home to a new sculpture trying to capture the spirit of the trails, trees and bicycles.
The Bicycle Tree Sculpture was created and donated by local artist Orville Ladehoff and others to the City of Amarillo Parks and Recreation Department.
It was unveiled at 11 a.m. at the Rick Klein Sports Complex, located at 3901 Grand Street.

TxDOT seeks public input on local bicycle transportation routes

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Texas Department of Transportation announced new bicycle routes and improvements are in the works for the South Texas region.
The TxDOT Pharr District will host a virtual public meeting regarding the development of district bicycle plans along the state.
