Adam Roberge wins Gravel Locos but was flamed for using actual tactics

Canadian used his legs as well as brain to ride to victory

Hannah Dellinger | www.houstonchronicle.com
Harris County was expected to begin construction of a new $1.3 million hike and bike trail north of Houston in August, according to a recently filed permit application.
The trail, which was meant to loop around a basin near Lauder Road and Greens Bayou between the Castlewood and East Aldine neighborhoods, should be complete in February.
The project was approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Friday and will be paid for with public funds.
A 12-foot wide, 1.4-mile concrete trail will be constructed with a new parking lot and access road, according to the approved plan.
