“We are in need of bikes,” Seguin Police Community Engagement Officer Sarah Chilutti said. “There’s apparently a shortage in supply. So that’s where we’re struggling.”

‘Excitement On a Well Beaten Path’ Southern Tier East to West

Kountze TX – Cold Springs TX
Saturday May 6, 2023 It was DEFINITELY worth it!
The light show, the wind, and the deluge were impressive!
Everything stayed dry (enough).
Packed up a soggy campsite and hit the road.
-More sniveling… lol. Not a single place to get a coffee on the route today. When the path crossed a highway, I scooted North about a mile to hit a truck stop to get a cup of the good stuff that makes the Earth revolve. And yes, I enjoyed it while sitting on bench out front, sweating through my sticky clothing. -Worth it!
Made it to Made in the Shade campground and currently very happy with this. Showers and wifi for the win!

Kudos to Super Neighborhood 14 George Frey for arranging this wildly successful bike bus for @SinclairPTO! The great news is 150 kids joined. The very bad news is it had to be escorted by 6 police cars because our streets over here are not safe for people. @bikehouston pic.twitter.com/zh9x2h1g7H
