Busy Week Biking Closing Out On Kingwood Streets & Trails
It’s not often that I bike Kingwood streets twice in a week but I did this week. I rode different bikes each ride. This week has been a busy bike ride one with a total of 237.49 miles, all on the road, the first week over 200 miles in 2023. The last week with more miles was September 19 to 25 with 246.16 miles. Riding the Gator Ride in Baytown yesterday helped. I rode my Cervelo Caledonia 5 days and the Lynskey 2 days.
On today’s ride some portions of the route went opposite of my usual direction putting a couple of hills in my way. The first was on the greenbelt trail through Kingwood Lakes and the second was going up Laurel Springs Lane from Hamblen Road. I stopped at the park in Kingwood Lakes for these photos.
I got four medals from Strava. Three of them: PR on Crystal Springs to Barrington (1:28), 2nd fastest time on Laurel Spring Nbound St. Andrews (2:52), and 3rd fastest time on Crystal Springs to Hamblen (Rivergrove) (4:10).
