Readers don’t support legalizing the Idaho stop; question the latest move by Walmart regarding health clinics; ask parents to get involved in preventing drug abuse by their kids; don’t support school vouchers; and support Dallas ISD.

‘Idaho stop’ dangerous

Re: “Yield to bicycles — Legalize the Idaho stop to give cyclists safe passage, and make sure drivers know about it,” Wednesday editorial.

Legalizing the “Idaho stop,” which would essentially allow cyclists to disregard stop signs, will lead to more injuries and should not be considered. While it might sound good in theory, in practice human nature will put more cyclists in danger.

Galaxy Bicycles to celebrate 15 years of business in San Marcos
