A Harris County Precinct 1 deputy constable is under investigation after an incident with cyclists earlier Thursday a few miles north of downtown.
The video, recorded Thursday, appears to show a deputy constable brake-checking a bicyclist that was part of a group riding in the Sunset Heights area, then veering in and out of traffic.
Constable Alan Rosen addressed the situation in a series of tweets.
The incident occurred about 10:15 p.m., he said, near North Main Street and Cavalcade. A citizen concerned about the deputy’s behavior first alerted Rosen to the video, he said. …
