Cleveland, TX
Friday March 4, 2022, 115 km (71 miles) – Total so far: 2,367 km (1,471 miles) Pretty uneventful day through rolling farmlands and then entered the Sam Houston National Forest. I thought that would be a quiet day but unfortunately there were too many trucks on that road. I got off it (and the bicycle route) and headed SE to Cleveland on a quiet road. In a hotel again, no campground here. The National Forest was a disappointment since they had campgrounds but the trucks were annoying. The hotel lady said they use that road to avoid the scales, too bad.
