  1. Rick,
Sounds like the Wild West over in your neck of the woods, with cyclist shooting motorist after motorist bumped another cyclist off bike. I liken that more to some of the goings-on here in the SA area. Gotta be careful!
Still biking over here; although not to the extent of your dedication and distance. My Fair Oaks Ranch biking bud, along with another rider, did the Tour de Agua in Dublin. We are going to be at the Tour de Gap in Buffalo Gap, south of Abilene, on July 24. They got rid of most of the rough chip seal riding on the shoulder of Hwy. 83 on the 31-mi. route, so it makes it more attractive.
My wife is in a memory care unit in Boerne, so it’s me and and he dog and cat at home. You should think about coming over; we’ll do some of the linear greenways, which you would enjoy.

  2. I am sorry to hear about your wife.
Yes,biking here can be stressful. But the recent incidents have been in other parts.
Glad you are still riding. Maybe someday I will make the drive to Abilene for Tour de Gap. I registered for the HH100 yesterday. It’s been 6 years since I rode it. My wife was fighting cancer.
I like the idea of going to SA and the linear greenways. Maybe later this summer when the rain lets up.
