We’re meeting at the @NorthavenUMC parking lot near Preston, so I’m riding over there. Here’s the segment between St. Jude’s and Hillcrest. @DallasParkRec just mowed and it looks great. Thanks also to @oncor for being an excellent trail partner. 3/ pic.twitter.com/6FfTbV0S7I

Now into Royal Park. We stop to use the bike repair station but the pump has malfunctioned and actually deflates @Jayniefordallas’ bike tire to the point we’re we are stuck for a bit. 11/ pic.twitter.com/ZB5fGBXZ9X

Instead of turning around, we ride up Monroe to Walnut Hill and circle back via Brockbank. Brockbank is the most logical future connection from @NorthavenTrail to @BachmanLake. We’ll save that for a future ride. Also, Brockbank is being, uh, flooded. 17/ pic.twitter.com/SwpGf53YeR

That’s it! 15.42 miles, three @CityOfDallas council districts (6, 11, and 13), and lots of excitement about trail connectivity. Next up are the Trinity Forest trails with @Jaime_Resendez and @CalvertCollins. The goal is to do these on every trail in the city! 23/23 pic.twitter.com/i8SQAmWbCw
