Scientist rides bike across Permian Basin to Austin for climate change awareness

On Sunday, May 16, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) scientist David Goodrich finished his bike ride from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Austin, Texas to bring awareness to climate change.
"Seeing things from a bicycle seat is about as close as you can get. I’m retired climate scientist and also a writer, and I wanted to ride with a sense of what climate looks like from a bicycle seat," Goodrich told KVUE.
