HOUSTON — A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday in west Houston, according to investigators.

VICTIM HIT BY TRAIN IN PORTER IDENTIFIED

… The train’s computer system detected a fault causing the crew to shut it down. As they went to inspect the fault they discovered blood on the locomotive. Montgomery County Justice of the Peace Jason Dunn responded to the scene for the inquest and ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victim to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy. There was no identification on the victim. Currently, the victim is listed as Robert Matlock, age 52.
