BikeHouston announces the departure of Executive Director Clark Martinson. Clark has given us two years of his service as Executive Director. During his tenure, BikeHouston has benefited from Clark’s detailed understanding of bicycle infrastructure, planning issues and processes, and his network of contacts in planning and development. He has long been dedicated to bicycling and bicyclists, and we are confident he’ll continue to make contributions benefiting the cycling community in the years to come. We appreciate his service and wish him well in his future endeavors.

Ambucs big on bikes Lori Boyd, founder and president of Abilene Big Country Ambucs — which provides adapted bicycles and tricycles for free to children with disabilities — has humble hopes for her organization’s first year in the fundraiser.

Another month, another milestone. My bicycling has been a daily affair for some time now, and I’ve kept that streak alive. And that has made keeping my numbers consistently up from last year.
