I was ready for the start of today’s ride with about 20 seconds to spare. Starting out with the group but towards the back I started passing other riders settling in around 155th position. The ride started at 12:01 PM and followed the same 8.7 mile course as yesterday’s race lasting 29:09. My ride time today was 30 seconds less than my race time. Average speed today also exceeded the race: 18.4 mph for the ride and 17.8 mph for the race. Like previous Tour de Zwift group rides I rode in Group B.

While I heated up indoors outside 48 degrees and sunny reminded me winter remains but Friday it may warm up. Saturday I am registered for the Humble Lions Club Bike Ride. It starts at 8 AM and may be in the 50’s reaching 70 by the end of the ride.
