The final stage of the tour consisted of 1 lap on the 2019 UCI World Harrogate Circuit for 8.7 miles (13.8 km). With this race I competed in all 7 stages. This will put a race kit in my Zwift garage. I almost missed the start because I let the time get away from me. The racers left the start line and I stood there for a few seconds as I clipped in and began chasing. I passed 3 or 4 racers standing still and then worked to catch up to a group to get aerodynamic help.

With the short distance I wondered if Box Hill loomed but the course stuck to lower climbs though we rode up a 10% hill. Most of the hills came in at 7% to 8% thankfully.

The event information showed 699 racers across the four groups with group D supplying 288 of those. I think 235 showed up fr group D at the start and I was 225 at the beginning. I finished in 172nd place just ahead of D. Dammers with the same time of 30:13.

Thursday if the weather remains cool I will take part in the Stage 7 Group Ride.
