This Sunday, expect to see a phalanx of cyclists traveling south on Broadway from Burr Road to Travis Park accompanied by at least one member of City Council, possibly more. This will not be a joyride, but rather a pedal-powered demonstration to persuade the city to install bike lanes on lower Broadway, even though there is a much safer alternative.
