HOUSTON – An Angelina County man who participated in a local triathlon last year claims he was hit by a motorist during the event and has filed a state district lawsuit.

Council OKs grant app for bicycle pump

The largest asphalt bicycle pump track in North America took a step closer to reality Monday when Paris City Council approved a $500,000 matching grant application with Texas Parks & Wildlife.
City Manager John Godwin said although grant funds are limited and competition is highly competitive, he is optimistic.
