Woman accused of DWI after allegedly running over bicycle rider

A woman was arrested early Saturday after authorities said she drunkenly ran over a bicyclist in northern Harris County.
Candace Ware Ayodele was riding her bike west on on FM 1960 just before 1 a.m. when a Ford Fusion plowed into her. Her bicycle didn’t have any reflectors or rear lights, and she died at the scene.

American Lawson Craddock finished last out of 145 cyclists who completed the three-week, 2,082-mile Tour de France on Sunday.

A man faces second-degree felony charges for his suspected involvement in a hit-and-run last month that led to the death of a bicyclist.
Gabriel Morales, 31, is charged with failing to stop and render aid at the scene of a crash that killed Edward Ramos Martinez Jr., 46, according to the affidavit for Morales’ arrest warrant.
