New Trail Sections at Walnut Creek – stitched together

In the last 2 weeks we have figured out how to get the new trail sections joined together into a route that flows. In the past everyone had generally followed the “race loop” which has been a long-standing route. Most people rode everything in one direction even though everything at WC is bi-directional. By reversing the Lop Loop directions you can actually put it all together nicely. Numbers align to points listed below:

After riding many different trails for some time, I noticed that I mostly ended up using my small chain ring and some times the large chain ring on the flats. My 2x crankset up is a 24T/38T, so I wanted to get one chain ring some where in between my current set up but large enough where I could still have some speed on the flats but not burn my legs on the climbs.
