The cold rainy weather finally broke and we had another shot to get out to Lakeway. With only one spot that was wet and muddy, the trails were in great shape. I clocked over 2100ft of climbing for the day and the conditions were out of this wold, with grippy switchbacks and…

Jingle Bell Lights Ride
Austin Ridge Riders
Sunday, December 22, 2013 (All day)
Our family-friendly easy pace ride through the twinkling lights in North Austin is planned again this year for Sunday December 22.  We will meet up in northwest Austin at the Northwest Balcones Park located at 10201 Talleyran Drive. We are planning for hot chocolate after the ride and the ever-popular white elephant gift exchange.
REMEMBER!! bikes must have a white light to the front and a red blinky light to the rear.
Check your local bike shop. Decorate your bike, bring some odd, quirky or just plain weird to exchange. More details (time, route, etc.) to come but this is generally an easy, social, kid-friendly ride.

Daylight savings time sucks! Can't ride after work, so stationary biking will have to do. A good work w/ no traffic, but it sure is BORING!
