The ATX100K is making a stop at City Park in early December and there was a ride at City Park to show those who were unfamiliar with the trail how it flows. With all of the rain that we have experienced, many of the lines have changed, so it was good to get out there and ride

Trek by Wounded Warrior bikers takes them to better place
By Zeke MacCormack, Staff Writer      www.mysanantonio.co
BOERNE — Sore but satisfied, dozens of wounded warriors celebrated the completion of a bike trek Saturday that took them far beyond the 23-mile route they pedaled behind a police escort.
“It showed me that, with true determination, I can conquer all,†said Anthony Harding, 41, posing for photos upon finishing the second of two Solider Rides in two days that were sponsored by Wounded Warrior Project.

But that didn’t stop the Boerne resident from making the ride, which he hopes will raise $100,000 for the American Diabetes Association.
Followed in an RV by his daughter Katie Holcomb, 30, McCutcheon is about…

The view was stunning. Mesquite, creosote, yucca and prickly pear made up much of the dense vegetation leading up to the steep vertical cliffs a quarter mile away. Apparently, the rocky precipices were home to peregrine falcons during the nesting season, although, on this early November afternoon, the raptors were long gone.
I’d been on my bicycle for some five hours already and my legs and lower back were protesting. Based on my bike…
