Cyclist Without Legs to Bike 710 Miles; Says He is ‘Pedaling for Justice’

A business owner from Chihuahua, Mexico who lost both of his legs at the hands of cartel thugs, is now bicycling across Texas to raise awareness on the violence facing many in his homeland.
Carlos Gutierrez, 35, is riding a bicycle from El Paso to Austin in an effort he is calling “Pedaling for Justice.” The trip is 710 miles from start to finish and he plans to arrive in the capital city on Nov. 9 and hold a rally to conclude the journey.
