I’ve spent the last few months really thinking about the brand behind Texas Mountain Bike Trails.
What do I want it to be.
What direction do I want the website to take.
What do my races stand for and what is their purpose.
But most importantly to me.
How do I want to impact the lives of readers (and locals) with what I provide.
And despite spending months of time thinking about it I still don’t know exactly the right answer.
But, I do have a better idea and I know that at it’s core the brand revolves around the three E’s of XC.

Wish 100 cycling event returns to downtown McKinney on Oct. 5

The city of McKinney, in partnership with Make-A-Wish North Texas, McKinney Velo Club and Matrix Cycling Club announced the fifth annual Wish 100 cycling event will take place Oct. 5 in downtown McKinney.
The 60-mile ride through McKinney and surrounding Collin County cities will raise funds for wishes of children battling life-threatening medical conditions. There are three planned ride distances: 62 miles, 42 miles and 12 miles. Cyclists can register at makeawishtx.org or at three locations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 2 through Oct. 3: McKinney Performing Arts Center (111 N. Tennessee St. in McKinney), Richardson Bike Mart in Richardson, and Bike Mart in Frisco.
