Come on out if you have the time, I’ll have loppers and hand clippers available for use or you’re…

By Victor R. Martinez \ EL PASO TIMES
May is National Bike Month.
So David Samaniego would like his fellow El Pasoans to consider riding to work, school or play.
“I got started seven years ago by watching Lance Armstrong on the Tour de France,” Samaniego said. “I realized how fun bicycling is again. When you’re a kid, you know how fun it really is, but as an adult, you tend to forget. I started for fitness, but now I do it because I love it so…

First, when you take off your old tires, there will still be some fluid in the bottom of the tire if you are lucky, so try not to spill that all…

Comedian embarks on bicycle trip to Texas
bangordailynews.com
Chris Quimby is a standup comedian, author and graphic designer who is undertaking an eight-week adventure, Spokes and Jokes, with his family, cycling to Texas with their logistic support and performing in venues en route while staying in the homes of hosts across the nation. The family’s blogs of the mission can be viewed at spokesandjokes.com.
It’s one thing to say you believe in something. It’s entirely different to allow that stated belief to have it work in you, for good or for bad.
The evolution of Spokes and Jokes (which rightfully has been referred to as either a mission, adventure, tour or thingie) occurred over the course of about six months, starting as merely a…
