Yes folks, it is that time of year again. Eat too much at Thanksgiving? Drink too much? Now is the time to work it all off. For those of you that have been asking all year for me to call another greenbelt ride, here is your opportunity. The annual day after thanksgiving ride is usually one of the biggest of the year.
As always we will start at the loop 360 entrance. This will be a social ride at a social pace, but we need people to be responsible for themselves. Here are the details: …

Flat county roads in Harris, Waller, and Montgomery Counties. Pay attention to the map – there are a lot of turns. Only one store on the route.
Meeting location: 36 miles NW on Hwy. 290 to exit ‘Katy-Hockley and Roberts Rd’. Turn right on Roberts Rd. Zube Park is on the right 3/4 mile down.

Saturday, December 29th: While Christmas ends for many with the arrival of Santa Claus, in churches around the world the Christmas season begins with on December 25th and continues for the next twelve days. Join us on the 5th day of Christmas for a chance to find five golden rings shining brightly among the beautiful Christmas decorations of our four mission churches. Ride begins at 9:30 am at the Roosevelt Park trailhead for the Mission Reach Trail. We will visit Missions Concepcion, San Jose, Espada, and San Juan on an 18 mile ride along the Mission Reach Trailway and quiet city streets. Kiwanis’ race, now in 30th year, comes as weather turns cooler

Nearly 1,000 bicyclists gathered at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Saturday morning for the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Club’s 30th annual Turkey Roll.
The bicycle rally started decades ago with an idea from former club president Joe Holland.
