The City of Austin has recently installed, specifically through the Neighborhood Connectivity Division of the Public Works Department, high capacity bike parking facilities both on-street with bike corrals and off-street with bike islands in the public right-of-way (ROW). These installations have focused on capacity, ease of access, and site location based on cyclist use patterns. The Ghisallo Foundation desires to further enhance these new facilities with adjacent xeriscaped pocket gardens…
