5th Annual LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour
The organizers of the 5th LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the volunteer helpers, who put in endless hours of patient work, mostly behind the scenes, but also at the early packet pick-ups and on the day of the tour itself, helpers without whose efforts this great event would not have been possible, and – of course – we would like to thank all our generous sponsors, too.

Levi’s Commuter Jeans Launch Parties

Levi’s is throwing a series of launch parties again this year, with the first coming up on March 29th in San Francisco, with other parties in Austin, LA, Philadelphia and New York coming up throughout the spring. Look for another round this summer in Chicago, Portland and Minneapolis.

Spent part of the week at South Llano River State Park in Junction. It’s a really nice little State Park 7 miles South of Junction. It’s quiet and Junction is a pleasant little town.

I took my Santa Cruz Tallboy and on the last day things had dried out from the big storm on Monday so that I could ride the trails around there.

First off, it was a lot of fun. It’s not very technical and almost all of it is 2-track. They say they have 18 miles of it, but it’s really just a big loop with multiple links.
