During the past year, there have been several mountain biking related accidents resulting in serious injuries. In several cases the rider involved was uninsured. This issue was the subject of discussion on BikeMojo with very interesting comments, feedback and ideas.
The Austin Ridge Riders is currently researching accident supplemental insurance options to include coverage provided by groups like IMBA and the USA Cycling Association.
