The Byers Bicycle Bash 3 is the third annual100km recreational bicycle ride through beautiful scenic Clay County Texas. Two shorter routes of 46 miles and 25 miles are also offered. This ride is a fund raising event with all proceeds benefiting the rural Byers ISD and the
Byers Volunteer Fire Department. A free hamburger feed will be held for all registered riders at the end of their journey in Byers. All rest stops will be first class and fully supported every 10 miles. Sag and some mechanical support will be provided. Average high temperature in May is approximately 82 F with a low of 60 F. If you are searching for that extreme experience, go to HH100.org and sign up for the Hotter-N-Hell 100 in Wichita Falls on August 28, 2010. The Byers Bicycle Bash is considered a warm-up for the Hotter-N-Hell 100 Endurance Ride.
The starting and finishing areas are along State Highway 79 North in downtown Byers, Texas right near one of our major sponsors, First National Bank of Byers. All routes will be entirely on the extremely low-traffic, beautiful scenic rolling hills of northern Clay County
Texas passing through Petrolia and Dean. The 100km route partially overlaps with the famous route of the Hotter-N-Hell 100 mile race.
