Tim Williams will lead us south to Venus, Alvarado, Lillian, and Mansfield with routes of 41, 54, and 61 miles to choose from. Tim always puts together great routes on roads every cyclist can enjoy. We’ll start at Lynn Creek Marina at Joe Pool Lake and head south from there. This is one of my favorite rides!

Bicycle bypass OK’d

LEAGUE CITY — While the initial FM 518 bypass project to alleviate traffic might have hit a snag, one component of that plan, a shared-use bikeway project has gotten a green light.
Council members approved the $4.1 million, 2.3-mile long, shared-use path known as the FM 518 Bypass Bikeway.
