Urgent call to action on TX Complete Streets Bill from Bike Texas
We have just received an urgent alert from Bike Texas on the Complete Streets Bill making its way (hopefully) through the Texas Legislature. This bill would help the Texas Department of Transportation and the Texas Transportation Commission transition to full consideration of all road users in all decision making and projects. This would mean better sidewalks, better compliance with ADA requirements, more safe bike routes, and the proper consideration of all of these things throughout the design and implementation of projects. …
