TX Tough 250 – Austin, TX
A once-in-a-lifetime experience, the TX Tough 250 is a new event introduced by 250 of Dallas’s most influential business people, political leaders and philanthropists, all of whom have committed to ride from Austin to Dallas and collectively raise $1 million dollars for Children’s Medical Center.
Passion for Children’s, founded in 2007, started with a core group of volunteers that did everything from strategic planning to setting up barricades at events. In 2011 that core group takes it to the next level. With 250 of their closest friends, they will ride over 180 miles in two days from Austin to Dallas for Children’s Medical Center. In 2012, three different rides will open to the public.
