All PUDDLE FOR THE DUCKS Registered Riders First, we want to thank each and every one of you for your support and encouragement last week while we were struggling with the decision on whether to postpone, cancel or attempt to continue with the 2011 PUDDLE FOR THE DUCKS. As everyone is aware, we ultimately decided to postpone the ride in the hopes of being able to hold it on a later date. Because of the number of recommended rides in the Houston area, finding a date which does not have a ride committed is nearly impossible. Therefore it was determined that partnering with an existing ride would be the best alternative for this year's PUDDLE FOR THE DUCKS ride. We have agreed that we will partner with the 2011 Spring Breakaway on Sunday, February 27, 2011. Beginning at 8:00 AM, the ride will start and finish at the Katy Mills Mall location of Sun & Ski Sports, a sponsor for both rides. …
Volunteer Information/RSVP Fayetteville Stage Race Volunteer Information The club needs your help March 18 – 20 (Fri – Sun) to help put on the race. This race is the main fund raising event for the club and helps provide funds for club parties, volunteer clothing, and community donations. Volunteers receive a club t-shirt, as well as earn a free piece of club clothing for each volunteer day (up to two pieces). Meal tickets are provided for one meal on Saturday and/or Sunday. I also have a Quark Power meter that fits nicely with the setup. A Qring is a special type of chainring that is asymmetrical, meaning it is thicker through one cross section than another.
