An unidentified motorist plowed into a pair of cyclists and fled before dawn Thursday, fleeing the accident scene before one victim died at the hospital.

McAllen police responded to the wreck at North Main Street and Trenton Road about 5:55 a.m. Thursday. …

It is a sad day when anyone is killed in a hit and run especially a cyclist. Hopefully the police are able to identify the person responsible.
