Tonight was my first opportunity to ride my new Motobecane Le Champion CF bike. UPS delivered it last evening and I put it together when I got home from work. The ride around the block was as far as I could go before dark. It looks like everything is working as it should. The real test will be Saturday when I go for a longer ride. I am looking forward to it.

After the test ride I took the Raleigh M800 for a ride on the streets and trails around Kingwood. The weather has returned to last week’s pattern with 78 degrees, scattered clouds and a light 7 mph NNW breeze. A front is supposed to be coming through this weekend but in the meantime we will have nice weather. Nothing unusual with the ride except I did not encounter any joggers without lights.
