After UNT announced plans to remove the Avenue C raised bike lanes, concerned citizens contacted UNT and the city, and the demolition was put on hold until recent weeks. Finally, we see that freshly painted sharrows and accompanying “Bicycle May Use Full Lanes†signs are up. Since the city recently mentioned that Eagle could get bike lanes, this North/South route would tie-in nicely. …
