Three days riding in a row. This has been rare since early July. Today the temperature was in the upper 90’s but I don’t think it made it to the 100 degree mark the weather man was predicting. Clear skies did not shield me but the sun going down behind the tall trees did. A light breeze at 12 mph from the southeast was not a problem. My home weather station reported humidity at 28%. Not sure if this is correct but I did not have much perspiration until I stopped for several minutes.
Today’s ride statistics:
- miles = 23.69 miles
- riding time = 1:38:10
- average pace = 4:09 min/mile
- average speed = 14.5 mph
- max speed = 2.3 mph
- average cadence = 76.8 rpm
- max cadence = 105 rpm
- climb 167 ft., descend 167 ft., max elevation 97 ft.
- August miles 48.72
- YTD miles 3157.19
