I will forever remember the Goatneck this year because it was, simply put, one of the worst rides of my life. Lack of preparation in several areas culminated in this near disaster. Photos are from the 41 mile & 69 mile, Goatneck 2010 bicycle races at Cleburne, Texas. Taken one mile before the rest stop where the two routes separated. The images are in the race order at that point taken between 8:15 and 9:30 AM.
Unlike a marathon, this happens much faster and the badge numbers if they exist are all but impossible to see or record.
