Peru Parts Project Update
From this week’s issue of RBR’s 05/20/10 Newsletter:
Lon Haldeman says a box of cycling goodies arrives almost every day for PAC Tour’s Peru Parts Project. RBR publicized it in newsletter No. 439. “We’ll be moving about 300 pounds (136 kg) of donated equipment into the jungle for the bike racers,” Lon tells us. “The riders in Peru are looking forward to our arrival and they want to thank everyone for helping them get better equipment.” Lon will deliver the gear next fall when he leads another PAC Tour Peruvian cycling adventure. If you have equipment or clothing you no longer use (who doesn’t?), PAC Tour will be happy to recycle it. Shoes, pedals, saddles, helmets, drivetrain components (even “obsolete” 7- or 8-speed equipment), pumps, bottles, shorts, jerseys — if you don’t need it, a rider in Peru will love it. Ship to: PAC Tour, 202 Prairie Pedal Lane, Sharon, WIÂ 53585 USA. Thanks!
