“Three of the four routes will come right through Alvarado,” said Willy Gugel, Honey Tour media marketing consultant. “We love to have people cheering along the route displaying the flag and staffing the critical intersections to assure safe riding.”

Three of the tours will ride through Alvarado for both the coming and going path on the 30-, 51- and 62-mile rides. The 2010 Honey Tour will pass through Alvarado on May 29 with the ride beginning at 8 a.m. in Burleson.

According to Gugel, the starting line will be lined with 50 U.S. flags and there will be participation of two Veterans of Foreign Wars posts and the North Texas Purple Heart Group of veterans.
