Today was a ride to Liberty, County that is. With yesterday’s ride in the green grass I thought today I should move north a little and visit exciting Liberty County. Well I actually rode into Liberty County about 100 feet and then turned back to head home. The clouds were heavy and the wind was brisk at 18 mph from the SE. Fortunately the temperature was in the upper 70’s. At times I thought for sure I was going to caught out in the wide open and rain would get me but it did not happen. Red traffic lights did get me though. Every traffic light I came to turned red as I approached. Usually I get at least one green light. Since I was generally going into the wind this made for grinding starts when the light changed. I made it home without rain.
