The Weatherman Missed It Today, April 10th Ride
The best laid plans can get turned upside down when the weatherman tells you one thing and other things happen. I sat at the breakfast table reading the weather forecast and right there it said no rain until late next week. My wife needed some yard work done so we went outside to get started. After 30 minutes or so she said it was sprinkling and I said it isn’t supposed to be doing that. Over the next half hour it rained lightly. This delayed the yard work which in turn delayed my planned bike ride. After awhile we finished what we could and I did some other chores waiting for the rain to move out and the streets to dry. At 2:57 I left on my ride. It was cooler than predictd and damper. The weatherman lost this one. With a temperature of 69 degrees and a cool ESE wind at 14 mph the ride was not as warm as I prefer. Maybe it will be warmer (and drier) tomorrow.
