Shimano first introduced the revamped Ultegra groupset to press back in February, swearing us all to secrecy while the finishing touches were applied.

The groupset has been largely revamped and redesigned, taking notes from the tweaks made on the Dura-Ace groupset. As a result 151 grams has been shaved of the previous year’s weight, (6600 series) or 44 grams when compared to the Ultegra SL.

The Ultegra Double will be available in the UK from July, while the Ultegra Triple and WH-G700 wheel set will arrive in September.
