National Park Service Considers Change
According to the Alpine Avalanche, the National Park Service is considering a change in the mountain bike access for many parks.
"The National Park Service is considering a plan that potentially opens millions of acres of national park backcountry to mountain bikes, according to Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER).
Today (June 19), National Park Service Director Mary Bomar was scheduled to address the convention of the International Mountain Bicycling Association, amid its lobbying campaign to loosen restrictions on bicycle access to park backcountry."
