I’m using a route name, Atascocita – Walden – Spanish Cove Drive, for today’s bike ride but I changed some of the streets for variety and maybe add a little distance to the bike ride. The bike ride started a little earlier than yesterday rolling away at 10:30 AM on my Cervelo Caledonia bike. The overcast sky plus sunglasses made it seem darker than it really was. I wanted to get an extra mile or two toward my April road mile goal of 799 miles. I missed a few days this month and I am just keeping up with the daily mileage and not getting ahead. Today’s 37.33 mile ride moved my April total to 433 miles, just a few miles above the pace I need. This was the 8th ride on this route in 2024 and the longest distance by a mile or so.
